Santorini
Santorini lies to the south west of Koufonisia; this famous island offers one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. It is one of the best known of the Cyclades and it differs from the other islands that you will have visited so far as it is built on a dormant volcano. The villages cling to the mountainous terrain, the tiny white houses twinkle in the bright sunlight. The traditional villages of the island are beautiful; among these villages is Oia where you can enjoy one of Greece and the world’s most famous sunsets. It is breathtakingly beautiful. With superb views out to sea with the yachts moored at the foot of the mountainside. The island also has impressive beaches with the sand of your choice white, red or black and exquisite cosmopolitan restaurants, bars and cafes.
The next island is Milos.
